Virginia Elliott is an artist from Cincinnati, OH. She received her BFA from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 with minors in Geology and Psychology. She works in a variety of materials ranging from metal casting and stone carving to printmaking and textiles.
Her work is rooted in the physical processes and inherent meaning in classical materials while relating them to regional North American folklore and endangered species.
Virginia created this piece while serving as an intern at JSP in 2017.
