Joe Allred's C-Note wins the Frankfort Public Art Best of Show Award! Joe lives and creates in the Ouachita Mountains near Hot Springs, Arkansas, working principally in steel. Reflecting on C-Note, Joe states: “I love sound sculptures because they invite people to touch the art and enjoy it physically as well as visually. I especially love it when children ring the bell and learn that art is more than just pretty things.”
C-Note is part of a temporary installation of sculptures in downtown Frankfort curated by Josephine Sculpture Park in collaboration with the City of Frankfort, Frankfort/Franklin County Tourism Commission, and Richard and Anna Marie Rosen. It will remain on exhibit until October 2023.
Most of the sculptures installed in this temporary exhibition, including C-Note, are for sale! Please contact JSP for more information.
