nARTure Tuesday: Frozen Suncatcher

nARTure Tuesday’s back in action this week to a frozen suncatcher, taking advantage of this beautiful winter weather to make art with ice!

1. Head outside and gather your natural materials. Then, arrange your natural materials in a wide, shallow container that can be frozen.

2. Cover the natural materials with water. Tie a piece of yarn or sturdy string into a circle, and submerge half of the yarn into the water so that it will freeze inside the suncatcher.

3. Place your suncatcher in the freezer until completely frozen.

4. Remove your suncatcher from the container. Hang your nARTful frozen suncatcher outside to catch some sun!
