What is Juneteenth? Virtual Event

June 19 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join Keith McGill and his young friends to learn about the origins of the Juneteenth celebration and why it’s important to the history of our country. Teaching artist McGill leads students in a reading and dialogue about the history and meaning of this holiday, recorded by Cable 10.

Tune into our Facebook page on June 19th for the video premiere at 2pm and the rebroadcast at 3pm and 4pm.

This event is produced by the Josephine Sculpture Park in partnership with Focus on Race Relations and the Frankfort Plant Board Cable 10.
