Sculpture Saturday: Daniel Shieh, JSP Artist in Residence, Week 1

Welcome to Sculpture Saturday! Daniel Shieh joins us as the Artist in Residence for the month of October. Daniel is an artist from Taiwan, based out of NYC, who creates interactive artworks that alter the power dynamics between participants. He describes the sculpture he has designed for JSP, which we will watch develop over the next 3 weeks. Stay tuned!

Sculpture Saturday: “Reflect” by Andréa Stanislav, JSP Artist in Residence

Happy Sculpture Saturday! Josephine Sculpture Park hosted Symphonic Stroll on September 18, 2021, an event which combined the music of the Lexington Philharmonic with an interactive piece titled “Reflect” by JSP artist-in-residence, Andréa Stanislav, featuring the Kentucky Dance Academy.

In this video, experience Symphonic Stroll through Andréa’s voice and images by Jill Malusky and Daniel Evans.
